Real Estate Agent

Buying your first home is one of the biggest financial decisions of your life. Most people do it with almost no real information. I change that. You’ll know exactly what to look for, what a property is actually worth, and what the entire process entails before you write a single offer.

Many years ago I chose Nelson. I know what it feels like to move to a town you’ve only visited twice. I work with buyers from Squamish, Fernie, Revelstoke, Calgary, Vancouver & increasingly from the US — people who know what they want and need someone on the ground who can act fast and honestly.

Most sellers leave money on the table — not because the market is bad, but because the homework wasn’t done. I listen with intent, understand what makes your home worth more than the number next door, and build a strategy around your goals. You’ve built equity in this home. I treat that seriously.

Every month I pull the actual sales data from across Nelson and the West Kootenays — what sold, what sat, who has the leverage right now, and where the market is heading.
No generic real estate tips. Just the local numbers, in plain language, from someone who lives and works here.
Show Me The Data
I moved to Nelson from Calgary. I considered other BC communities but chose this one deliberately — a place to start a family, to be part of the community, to live the lifestyle only the Kootenays can offer.
Before real estate I sold cars. I left because I wanted to work with people on decisions that mattered more. Buying a home is one of the biggest financial and personal choices of your life. It deserves someone who treats it that way.

I chose Nelson because I wanted a life and career built on real connections, meaningful decisions, and the unique charm of the Kootenays.
After succeeding in high-pressure car sales at Nelson Toyota, I left the monthly quotas and forced closes behind. I wanted to help people with something lasting — a home they’ll live in for years, raise a family in, build a life around. Real estate, especially here, felt right.
I moved from Calgary, trading city noise and pace for mountains, lakes, and a community where people actually know each other. I explored other towns but chose Nelson for its character — heritage homes with original woodwork, mountain retreats, lakefront properties that feel genuinely alive. I have a one-year-old daughter now. Every time I think about why I chose this place, the answer gets clearer.
That move gives me an edge. When buyers from Calgary, Vancouver, or beyond ask if the West Kootenays are right for them, I’m not guessing. I’ve lived the transition. I fell in love with the stunning Octobers over Kootenay Lake, the snow globe winters, the trade-offs and the rewards — and I’m raising my family here because of them.
I’m an extroverted people person who thrives on building long-term relationships, decoding market psychology, and navigating the ups and downs. I guide first-time buyers through one of life’s biggest decisions with straight facts — no hype, just honest data on what’s selling, what’s realistic, and whether a property truly fits.
I believe housing should be about stable, beautiful lives — not speculation. Too much of Canada’s market has lost that focus. Here in the Kootenays I help keep it real, prioritizing homes and community over flips.
Outside work I coach strength training at Maverick Strength. It keeps me disciplined, accountable, and grounded — the same things I bring to every client relationship.
If you’re buying or selling in Nelson, Castlegar, Salmo, or anywhere in the West Kootenays — let’s talk. No pressure. Just an honest conversation about what matters to you.
